On Thursday we enjoyed eating lunch at a Thai restaurant. We were there to say, "Good bye," to some newfound Thai friends. The husband, Nayot, has taken an internship position with a company called SAP. Interestingly enough, that's the same company that Jay's friend and best man from our wedding, Nathan, starting working with this past year. While Nathan travels a lot and we still get to see him, Nayot will be stationed in Palo Alto, CA. I'll especially miss his wife, Ratree, as she was my language exchange partner. Since she works at Toy's Thai Cafe here in Fort Collins, she really treated us with quite a feast and wouldn't let us pay for a thing. Such kind Thai hospitality! We especially enjoyed the music videos of folks songs with the words streaming across the bottom in Thai that were playing in the restaurant. They are eventually hoping to come back to CSU in Fort Collins so that he can finish up his doctorate. So, probably the next time we see them Penny will be able to be our interpreter.
