Then we went out to lunch at Mad Greens, across from the museum.
After that we returned to the art museum and looked at some beautiful art from Venice, Italy which was hundreds of years old!
Next, we headed over to see some other exhibits, including Western art...

And textiles and fashion designs...
After that we drove up to Ft. Collins where we checked into our hotel, met Jay's mom for dinner at Red Robin and met some missionary friends from Senegal. No photos from those moments.
Finally, we went to Jay's mother's house to have a birthday celebration with cake and presents. Penny baked the cake and did a lot of the decorating. I only finished it off with frosting borders. It was fun to make the Star Wars themed cake for him!
We can't wait to play this game together as a family!
On Saturday we remembered Jay's Uncle Bob who passed away on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, I didn't get more photos, but we were glad to see family while we greatly miss Bob. His service was a beautiful tribute to him and how he was trusting in Jesus' grace.
On Sunday we enjoyed going back to visit our friends at our previous church we attended. It was fun reminiscing. But, I think it was hard on Penny to see how much had changed and realize that she has changed, too.
What a fun weekend to celebrate Jay's birth and Uncle Bob's entrance into heaven! So thankful to have many special memories to treasure!
