Big Party!

Well, now that the big party is over I can finally sit down and blog again. I see it's been a month since my last blog entry. We've had a lot of excitement here at the Regan household. We celebrated Penny's confirmation, her 8th grade graduation and her upcoming 16th birthday. She dressed up in her Thai silk dress, which she purchased with her own hard-earned money by having a friend from Thailand send it to us. We ended up having 35 people in our house. In true Colorado fashion, our weather was very unpredictable. So, we ended up having to close the garage door due to strong, gusty chilly winds. In fact, that morning we had a few small snow flakes. Today, one week later, it's supposed to be 80 degrees. We set up a buffet line and tables in the garage, because our home is not huge. But, somehow the traffic seemed to flow okay and a fun time was spent with all of the friends and family. I wish I could share some deep, profound words about this event or the upcoming Mother's Day, but I really am at a loss for words. My prayer for Penny is that her newly found faith in Jesus will continue to grow. May the confirmation in her heart grow deeper and deeper, as she experiences the deep love of her savior, who came to earth to save her and everyone who will believe. We pray for our lovely daughter that she will continue to grow into a strong woman who loves the Lord and shares His love with others around her.

Which church do you go to again? I thought you went to Timberline. Anyway, Penny is a gorgeous lady and I am praising God that she accepted Christ as her Savior! How amazing is our God!? Thank you for sharing little tidbits about you daughter with your friends and family.
Love to all!

Great verse from Joshua on Penny's banner. I love reading your posts and seeing the work of the Lord in her sweet life! I hope one day my Lydia can meet your Penny :)
