Our Social Life

Well, we officially have a date set for our first meeting with a social worker. A lady from Boulder will be coming to our house, (along with her two adopted daughters). The meeting is set for Sunday afternoon, Jan. 21st. Besides having our social worker visit us we've been trying to expand our social life in other ways, as well. This past Sunday we met a young Japanese woman at Timberline Church. We took her out to eat for lunch and Chandra is hoping to meet another new Japanese family at the little Japanese church on Saturday. Also, on Saturday we hope to celebrate Jay's birthday along with his parents and his best friend, Nathan. However, the weather report is sounding pretty nasty. It sounds like we may be hit with our fourth winter snow storm in four weeks. Meanwhile, we're still trying to melt the three feet, or so we've accumulated in the past three weeks. We just hope all this crazy weather won't put a damper on our social life. We're already beginning to get a case of "cabin fever" and it's only January.
